What to Expect? 

When you come for your Pico Laser treatment at Venusia Medical Aesthetics Clinic, our certified aesthetic physician will first conduct a thorough skin assessment to customise the treatment parameters to your specific needs. During the procedure, you will feel a sensation often described as light rubber band snaps or a tingling warmth on your skin as the laser energy is delivered. Most patients find the treatment tolerable, especially as it is a quick procedure. We may apply a numbing cream beforehand to enhance your comfort. You’ll wear protective eyewear throughout the session. 

Downtime 

Pico Laser treatments are known for their minimal to no downtime, making them an ideal “lunchtime” procedure. You might experience slight redness, mild swelling, or a transient darkening of pigmented spots immediately after treatment. These effects are typically mild and usually subside within a few hours to a couple of days. You can generally resume your normal activities almost immediately. We will provide specific aftercare instructions, including sun protection, to ensure optimal healing and results. 

Duration 

A typical Pico Laser treatment session at Venusia Medical Aesthetics Clinic is remarkably efficient, usually lasting approximately 15 to 30 minutes, depending on the size and number of areas being treated. While some improvements may be visible after the first session, a series of treatments (often 3-6 sessions spaced 2-4 weeks apart) is generally recommended to achieve optimal and long-lasting results for most concerns.
